SALES TERMS & CONDITIONS
Delivery of goods in New Zealand will proceed once your payment is confirmed.
Rural deliveries may require an extra freight charge.
Your product will be shipped by courier or Freight Company depending on your selection of goods.

Delivery normally is processed within 24 hours unless the item is not in stock, if this is the case you will be contacted regarding a delivery date.
No claim shall be made by you on account of late delivery however caused. Late delivery shall not constitute a breach of this contract by us, and you shall not be entitled to cancel the contract because of late delivery.
North Island & South Island prices may be different after freight.
Refund and Return Policy:
Buy with confidence, we stand behind the products that we sell and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Mercury Bay Marine. Please note that certain products may have specific return restrictions, which will be clearly stated on the product page.
If a refunds is issued it will be made in the same form as the original payment and will exclude the cost of freight. However, replacement goods will be sent to you freight free.

To be eligible for a return, the item(s) must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received them. Any items that are damaged, used, or not in their original packaging may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
a. Contact our team at email@example.com or phone us within 28 days of the delivery date to request a return and provide the necessary details.
b. Our customer support team will guide you through the return process and provide you with a return authorisation number (RMA).
c. Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging or a suitable alternative, and include the RMA number on the outside of the package.
d. Ship the package back to us using a trackable and insured shipping method. Please retain the shipping receipt for your records.
e. Once we receive the returned item(s), our team will inspect them to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
f. If the return is approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method, bank deposit, or process an exchange as requested.
Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after we receive and approve your returned item(s). Please note that the refund amount will exclude any shipping charges unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or model, please mention this when requesting the return. Exchanges are subject to availability, and any price differences will be adjusted accordingly.
Faulty, Damaged or Defective Products:
Unless stated otherwise, all items carry a 12 month warranty (some products have longer warranties). If you think your goods are faulty, please contact us an we will guide you through the return process Once we have received your goods we will assess them and contact you to discuss the options, of either arranging a replacement, refund or repair as set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Certain items, such as personalised or customised products, perishable goods, or items specified as non-returnable, are not eligible for return or refund unless they are damaged or defective.
If you want to cancel your purchase before goods have been dispatched and are in stock. Please contact us immediately. If goods have been ordered specially they will NOT be able to be cancelled.
Proof of Purchase:
Like every retailer we require proof of purchase for returns. Ideally, this will be a copy of your receipt.
If you do not have a copy of your receipt, we will need as many details as possible about your transaction, such as date of purchase, payment method, etc and we will try to find your transaction in the computer.
